1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of government. It does not store official records, retrieve a person's file, perform an official check, or submit documents for a visitor.

Its role is to identify custodians such as the Saunders County Sheriff, Corrections, County and District Courts, Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry, along with optional outside research tools. Government access remains subject to the Nebraska Public Records Act and the criminal-history dissemination rules in Neb. Rev. Stat. §29-3520.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Each user agrees not to:

• Use the service in violation of federal, Nebraska, or local law
• Threaten, harass, stalk, or target another person with information found here
• Use the content for credit, employment, tenant, housing, or insurance decisions
• Attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems
• Deploy bots, scraping tools, or other automated collection methods
• Disrupt performance or interfere with another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use this site's information or a linked tool to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or discriminate against a person. Such conduct may also violate criminal law. Nebraska registry information receives special protection under Neb. Rev. Stat. §29-4009, and the official Nebraska Sex Offender Registry warns that retaliation, threats, and vandalism may bring arrest and prosecution. Public registry access supports safety awareness, not private punishment or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Our partners do not offer their displayed services for regulated screening through this site. Data from these pages or linked tools must not be used to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A legally compliant consumer report must be obtained from a properly authorized, FCRA-compliant source, not from this website or its search widgets.

5. No Legal Advice

The site's general account of Saunders County record access is not legal advice. A licensed Nebraska attorney should address how a charge, warrant, conviction, set-aside, sealing rule, or narrow expungement remedy applies to a particular person.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are provided "as is." We make no promise that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Records change as charges are filed or dismissed and as Nebraska removal, set-aside, sealing, and narrow expungement rules take effect. Gaps can occur. No page is an official statement by a clerk, sheriff, court, or state agency.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Saunders County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required before copying, adapting, distributing, or building upon that material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for harm arising from use of the website, its information, or a linked service.

Nebraska law governs these terms. A dispute arising from website use must be brought in a court located in Nebraska.
